Consecration to the Immaculate Heart of Mary

Dear Parishioners,

Pope Francis in union with the Bishops of the world has asked the entire Church to join in the consecration to the Immaculate Heart of Mary of "ourselves, the Church and all humanity, especially Russia and Ukraine." He will be doing this in Rome on the Solemnity of the Annunciation, Friday, March 25.

Bishop Hying will be joining the consecration with a Mass and consecration at 11:00 am on Friday, March 25 at Immaculate Heart of Mary church in Monona.

Here at St. Marys in Platteville we will be doing two things. First, I have Mass at the nursing home every Friday which is at the same time the consecration is held, so I will be offering that Mass for this intention and will be doing the consecration there. Also, there will be a rosary at 11:00 am led by Jeannette Klaas in church followed by the consecration prayer. You are welcome to join us for the rosary and the consecration.

You can also make the act of consecration on your own whenever you like.
